If You Have Family Origins 8.0 or later and Need Some Troubleshooting Tips... To create or edit a user home page, you must have Family Origins version 8.0. or later. You must have signed up as an online user. This lets us know that you own the correct version of Family Origins and are entitled to access selected online features. (Note that this is different than registering your software when you first purchase it.) When you wish to access your user home page, use the same computer and Web browser as when you signed up online, otherwise we will not recognize you and will not let you create or edit your home page. Be sure your browser is set up to accept cookies and do not delete your cookie file. If you have done everything that is specified in the previous four points, we need to verify your account. You will need to do this if you have a new computer or browser. If you have not already signed up as an online user, you should do so now. Start your Family Origins software and from the Internet menu, select Go Online. (You may also need to start a connection to your Internet Service Provider before starting Family Origins.) The Family Origins Web site will prompt you to register.
